The East Texas/Louisiana Beefmaster Marketing Group was formed in 1980 and is currently one of six marketing groups recognized by the BBU. ETLBMG has produced a purebred registered Beefmaster cattle sale each year on the third Saturday of April and for most of those years it has been held at the Porth Ag Arena in Crockett, TX.
